I. Product Overview
The 48-cavity pin-valve hot runner system is developed specifically for the mass production of injection-molded packaging bottle caps made of PP and PE materials. It adopts a pin-valve timing-based glue-sealing structure and a high-precision balanced layout with 48 cavities in one mold. It is widely applicable to the large-scale production of various circular/irregular packaging bottle caps, such as beverage bottle caps, mineral water bottle caps, daily-chemical bottle caps, food-sealing caps, and pesticide bottle caps. The system has precise temperature control throughout the process, with no cold material, no stringing, and no gate residue. It is suitable for high-speed injection molding and automated part-picking, and is a standard hot runner solution for efficient and stable production in the multi-cavity bottle-cap industry.
### II. Applicable Raw Materials
It is specifically suitable for virgin PP and PE materials, as well as recycled and modified materials. It is compatible with high-fluidity special pellet materials for bottle caps. During molding, there is no yellowing, no carbonization, and the filling is full due to good fluidity. It is suitable for the molding processes of thin-walled, height-increased, and anti-theft-ring-integrated bottle caps.
### III. Core Structural Features
- **48-cavity runner balanced design**
The manifold is made of high-quality hot-working die steel. The runner is mirror-polished, with no material accumulation in dead corners. The runner path has been optimized through mold-flow simulation, resulting in a high gating balance degree for the 48 cavities. The weight, size, and filling consistency of each cavity's bottle cap are stable, with no defects such as short shots, shrinkage, or flash.
- **Pin-valve independent glue-sealing structure**
Pneumatic/hydraulic pin-valve hot nozzles are used. During injection, the valves open, and during pressure-holding, the glue is sealed. The gate is automatically cut off, leaving no gate marks, no stringing, and no drooling. There is no need for manual gate trimming. The end face of the bottle cap is flat and beautiful, directly meeting the subsequent requirements of assembly, film-covering, and sealing.
- **Partition-independent precise temperature control**
The entire system has partition-independent temperature control with high precision. A temperature curve is customized according to the low-melting-point and high-fluidity characteristics of PP/PE. The temperature is uniform throughout the area, eliminating problems such as cold-material streaks, color differences, and batch instability, and is suitable for short-cycle high-speed production.
- **High-strength, wear-resistant, and durable configuration**
The hot nozzles, valve pins, and inserts are made of wear-resistant alloy materials, which are heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant. They are not prone to wear and glue leakage during long-term continuous production. They are suitable for 24-hour non-stop mass production in bottle-cap factories, with a long service life and a low failure rate.
