The 8-cavity pin-valve + 8-cavity side-gate mixed hot runner system has an integrated layout with a total of 16 cavities. It is custom-developed specifically for precision plastic parts featuring complex product structures, high appearance requirements, uneven wall thicknesses, multiple undercuts, and limited gating positions. Within the hot runner of the same mold, a mixed combination of single-point direct gating with pin-valves for 8 cavities and latent gating with side-gating for the other 8 cavities is adopted. This meets multiple demands such as no visible marks on the appearance, no post-processing required, gating to avoid undercuts, and balanced filling. It perfectly solves the molding problem where a single gating method cannot meet both structural and appearance requirements simultaneously.
