YT-2905N-3 is the Silane crosslinkable low smoke halogen free flame retardant polyolefin cable material for cables with oil resistance requirements.

Process:Use Methods
①Mixing: Mix the A and B Component evenly, drop them into the hopper. Please use PE masterbatch if color required(it should be dried). The material must be use up within 2 hours after unpacking.(It can’t be dried.)Avoid to bring the external water in during the production

Δ Control the melt temperature of Insulation at 160±10℃.The extrusion temperature needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation
④Pay-off Speed: Without the effect of smoothness and performance, the faster,the better.
⑤Cross-linking: ambient cross-linking or water bath (steam) cross-linking can be applied.
For ambient cross-linking: at 15-25°C, cross-linking completes within one week; above 25°C, it takes about three days.
For water bath or steam cross-linking, to prevent cable adhesion, the temperature should be controlled at 90°C, and cross-linking completes in about 4 hours.
The above cross-linking times are based on an insulation thickness of ≤ 1mm. If the thickness exceeds this, the specific cross-linking time should be adjusted according to the product thickness and degree of cross-linking to meet the cable performance requirements. For full performance testing, the water bath (steam) should be at 90°C with a cooking time of more than 8 hours to ensure sufficient cross-linking of the material.
