There is no twinning and no phase transition anywhere between the melting point and low temperature, so the surface orientation you order is the orientation you get at the deposition temperature. The structure matches the high-temperature superconductor YBCO, with a moderate lattice mismatch about the <001> plane, and the thermal expansion coefficient is low, which lets films be deposited at lower temperature with less stress and better lattice matching. It is a mature twin-free tetragonal perovskite crystal that also matches a range of other oxide materials.
Standard sizes 10×3 to 20×20 mm and Ø15 to Ø2.6", thickness 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm, orientation <001>, single or double side polished to Ra ≤ 5 Å, orientation deviation ±0.5°, edge positioning 2° or better on request. Sloping wafers are customised to requirement. Packed in a Class 100 clean bag inside a Class 1000 clean room.
Minimum order 10 pcs. Send the film material, the required orientation and the size; sloping and off-axis wafers are quoted from the drawing.
