A new technology, with an annual output of 20000 tons of silicon steel in the province

Suzhou Huaneng Generator Co., Ltd., located in Taiping Street, Xiangcheng District, is a professional manufacturer of various types of stator and rotor blades for electric motors. General Manager Shi Jinming told reporters that similar enterprises have a loss rate of over 30% for silicon steel in production. In the past two years, Huaneng Company has been working hard on the 30% loss, and has successively "tested" flat stamping and swing stamping technologies, fully utilizing the "waste" generated after punching in the past. Nowadays, the utilization rate of silicon steel materials in Huaneng Company has increased from less than 70% to 78%, effectively reducing energy consumption and cutting costs for the enterprise.

Huaneng Company, having experienced the benefits, is not only accelerating its own technological advancements but also actively seeking "external assistance." In 2010, the company partnered with a renowned motor mold enterprise in Ningbo, Zhejiang, to develop a new mold. Building upon this, it took three years to upgrade the entire set of equipment, including molds, welding equipment, and stamping beds. The company also assimilated and integrated the scientific research achievements from universities and peer enterprises, developing new technologies such as whole set material stamping and S-shaped gourd material stamping. Shi Jinming stated that the sole use of whole material stamping technology has increased the utilization rate of silicon steel materials by 10%. With this technology, the annual production capacity of the company's newly constructed Workshop 2 will reach 200,000 tons, saving 20,000 tons of silicon steel materials alone.

Advanced technology has won the favor of top companies in the industry, such as Siemens and Loberside, for Huaneng Company. During an interview at Huaneng Company, the reporter coincidentally met Yang Lin, a Chinese American who is known as the "first person to sell Chinese motors abroad". This octogenarian "electric motor expert" is extremely excited about Huaneng Company's ability to maximize the use of "scraps". He praises Huaneng Company's whole set stamping technology as "unique" internationally, and voluntarily proposes to help Huaneng Company apply for international patents. He also expressed his intention to invite Huaneng Company to participate in the American Electrical Machinery Association Annual Meeting held in Boston in June 2014, to promote Huaneng Company's technology and products globally.
