Zibo Huihua visits Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences

On November 9, 2015, Manager Zhao Yu of our company led a team to visit the Advanced Lubricant Materials Laboratory of Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He held in-depth discussions with Dr. Li Jiusheng, the academic leader of the laboratory, as well as Dr. Xu and Dr. Zhang. Both sides look forward to complementary advantages and cooperation in the R&D and industrial production of new lubricant additive products.

Located in Shanghai Zhangjiang High‑Tech Park, the Advanced Lubricant Materials Laboratory of Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences focuses on the demand for high‑end lubricants from mechanical equipment and keeps pace with modern lubricant technology trends. It prioritizes research on processing technologies and application techniques for high‑grade lubricant base oils. Multiple research projects have been carried out so far, including separation technology for coal‑to‑olefins, application of α‑olefins derived from biomass metathesis, PAO production process research, and fully‑synthetic industrial lubricants.
