Solution
Industry Demands
The network is required to support integrated transmission of video surveillance, equipment control, environmental monitoring, personnel positioning and voice intercom with high bandwidth, low latency and long-distance coverage. Considering the harsh underground environment featuring humidity, dust, gas explosion risks and strong electromagnetic interference, all cables and devices must comply with coal mine safety standards for explosion proof, flame retardancy and anti-interference performance. The system shall have self-healing capability to ensure continuous operation even with single-point faults. Meanwhile, the overall structure is easy to maintain and expand, and can be extended along with mining progress to accommodate future intelligent system upgrades.
Customer Value
Adopting a dual redundant ring industrial Ethernet architecture, the solution uses MGXT32 and MGXTBV flame-retardant mine optical cables as the core transmission medium to connect the ground dispatch center with all underground mining areas, roadways and shafts. All-dielectric non-metallic optical cables are preferentially deployed in high-gas zones to eliminate potential safety hazards. Equipped with industrial switches, the network achieves millisecond-level link self-healing and automatic switching upon single-point line faults to ensure uninterrupted communication. It supports integrated transmission of video, control, monitoring and voice services. All cables and supporting equipment meet strict mine standards for explosion protection, low smoke zero halogen, anti-electromagnetic interference, tensile strength and wear resistance. With a modular network design, the system can be flexibly extended and expanded as mining operations proceed, facilitating daily maintenance and enabling seamless access to subsequent intelligent applications such as underground 5G and intelligent mining.
