This fully automatic sharpening machine is a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) system designed to accurately regrind the tip of a cutter including drill bit, end mill, center drill, ball cutter, to restore their cutting lips, chisel edge, and clearance angles. The operator’s role is reduced to loading the tool, selecting the program, and initiating the cycle that is fully automatic. The machine handles all aspects of the sharpening process, including positioning, grinding, and quality verification.
