Main Purpose

For slicing plants, agricultural and sideline products, Chinese medicinal herbs, etc. It can also cut oblique slices of strip-shaped stem medicinal materials such as Gastrodia elata, Panax notoginseng, Pinellia ternata, Rheum officinale, Maca, Angelica sinensis and other herbs.

Main Working Principle

Manual intermittent feeding. While the materials in the hopper are compressed by the air cylinder, the rotating cutter head slices the materials into flakes. Once the air cylinder reaches its bottom dead center and cutting is finished, the cylinder retracts automatically and the cutter disc halts immediately via motor braking to complete one cutting cycle. The motor adopts an integrated clutch-brake design, with variable frequency speed regulation to meet diverse cutting requirements. The slice thickness can be set by adjusting the cutter gap via the cutter pressing handwheel without shutting down the machine. A water spraying device is available for high-viscosity, highly fibrous and brittle materials. The air intake pressure can be adjusted according to material shapes.
