Characteristics

Orange silica gel in bead or block form; when it absorbs moisture, it turns green or transparent. Orange silica gel does not contain cobalt chloride and is therefore non-toxic and harmless.

Use

Orange Silica Gel is an eco-friendly color-changing silica gel primarily used for moisture absorption, moisture protection, and humidity indication. It possesses strong adsorption capacity and can effectively absorb moisture from the air, preventing damage to electronic products, precision instruments, mechanical parts, pharmaceuticals, food packaging, and metal products caused by moisture. At the same time, Orange Silica Gel indicates its moisture absorption status through a color change, making it easy for users to determine whether the desiccant needs to be replaced or regenerated. It is widely used in industrial moisture-proof packaging, container transportation, electrical equipment, transformer breathers, and various moisture-proof sealing applications. Since it does not contain cobalt, Orange Silica Gel is more environmentally friendly than traditional blue silica gel and is currently one of the most commonly used indicator-type desiccants.
