R-type transformer is a new type of transformer developed on the basis of combining the advantages of C-core and toroidal transformers. It uses an "R-core" made of high-B material, which is a completely non-cut core, thereby reducing overall magnetic flux leakage. It also features a circular cross-section, which reflects the high performance and compact size of this transformer. Compared with traditional E-type transformers, the R-type transformer offers outstanding advantages: 30% smaller volume, 40% thinner thickness, 40% lighter weight, as well as low loss, low temperature rise, low noise, and a simple structure.
