On the morning of the 13th of this month, at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Zhejiang Province Radiology Annual Conference, the Open Fund of the Non-Liquid Helium Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology and Application Engineering Research Center of Zhejiang Province was announced.
The attendees included renowned experts and leaders from the academic field, such as Academician Wang Zhenchang from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Academician Teng Gaojun from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Zheng Jianjun, the director of the Engineering Research Center of Zhejiang Province, introduced the application guidelines for the project fund. The aim is to draw on the strengths of all and gather wisdom from all directions, in order to promote the progress of image science and technology. This fund supports several projects, namely: "Research and Development of Multi-Angle MR Imaging Technology", "Clinical Application and Exploratory Research of Multi-Angle MR Imaging", "Other Related Fields of Multi-Angle MR Imaging", etc.
After the opening of the open fund project of the "New Technology and Application of Liquid Helium-Free Magnetic Resonance Imaging" in Zhejiang Province Engineering Research Center, Director Zheng Jianjun delivered a keynote speech on "Preliminary Exploration of Multi-Posture Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Chest" at the thoracic specialty session. He further planned the "Open Fund Project of Zhejiang Province Engineering Research Center", pointing out that the center's positioning is based on the national science and technology strategy and people's health needs, using scientific research achievements as the foundation to develop international advanced MRI new products, new technologies, and new methods, and applying them to scientific research to better serve people's health, discipline development, talent cultivation, and technology transfer.
Additionally, at the imaging technology session, Dr. Chen Bin from the Radiology Department of Ningbo Second Hospital delivered a speech on the topic of "Liquid Helium-Free Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology: Innovation Progress and Application Prospects". Dr. Chen shared imaging cases of patients in different positions and pointed out that the "Multi-Position Magnetic Resonance Imaging System" innovatively developed by Xinggaoyi has extremely high application value in both clinical and research fields. The audience in the venue responded enthusiastically, and experts and scholars showed great interest in this emerging technology.
Xin Gao Yi representative Xu Jinrui presented on the topic of "Multi-Position 1.5T Magnetic Resonance Innovative Applications" at the Breast Specialty Session. He analyzed this imaging system from two aspects: the core technology of "superconducting liquid helium-free magnet" and "clinical innovative applications". He also pointed out that Xin Gao Yi's magnetic resonance equipment will develop in a more specialized and segmented direction.
At present, the Zhejiang Province Engineering Research Center for New Liquid Helium-Free Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology and Applications, based in the Second Hospital of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, has successfully installed the "Multi-Position Superconducting Liquid Helium-Free Magnetic Resonance Imaging System" developed by Xing Gaoyi.

The magnet of this 1.5T multi-position liquid helium-free magnetic resonance imaging system adopts an integrated support structure design, enabling a magnetic field rotation from 0 degrees in the supine position to 90 degrees in the standing position.
