Die-Cast Aluminum Engine Valve Cover

A die-cast aluminum valve cover for gasoline engines. The perimeter seal groove is formed in the casting, so a rubber gasket seats reliably, and evenly spaced bolt holes spread clamping force to limit distortion and oil seepage. Internal ribs damp vibration in the thin walls, which helps reduce engine-top noise. Outline, oil filler position and ignition coil openings can be adapted to your engine. The gasket face and bolt bosses are CNC-machined flat after casting, and the part can be supplied bare, painted or powder coated. The cover can be developed as an engine family, with insert changes covering different displacements from one tool.
