Die-Cast Left and Right Tool Housing Halves

A mirrored pair of die-cast housing halves for handheld power tools. The mating faces carry a locating step, so the two halves self-align during assembly and close without a visible seam offset. Inside, bearing seats, ribs and screw bosses are formed in the casting, letting the motor and drive train drop straight in. Wall thickness is held equal on both halves, which keeps the painted finish consistent across the joint. The pair suits drills, angle grinders and hedge trimmers, and is normally tooled together with the internal components so tolerances match across the whole housing. Left and right parts are supplied as a matched set. The depth of the locating step can be tuned for a seal or snap-fit, giving better consistency in volume assembly.
