Die-Cast Two-Chamber Gearbox Housing

A gearbox housing with two adjacent circular gear chambers whose walls are tied into the external ribbing. Bearing seats are machined in a single setup after casting, which holds the center distance between the two shafts. Mounting ears and dowel holes around the body locate the end cover and close the oil chamber. It is used on lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and small reduction units. Chamber size, center distance and gear ratio can be adapted to your transmission layout, with the joint face machined flat to seal against the cover.
