Die-Casting Mold for Round Heat Sink

A single-cavity mold for round heat-sink parts. The gate feeds radially from the center so aluminum fills evenly along the fins and starves less at the edges. The cavity is built as one insert for easier polishing and replacement, and ejection is concentrated at the center to avoid marks on the fin faces. It is used for lamp covers, heat-sink discs and motor end caps. Tooth profile, disc diameter and gate count can be designed from your part drawing.
