Small Die-Cast Brackets, Six-Cavity Tool

A family of small brackets produced in a six-cavity die. One shot yields six parts, which is the economical route for high-volume, low-weight structural components. The castings are shown with their runner and gates attached; after de-gating they go straight to machining or assembly. Multi-cavity tooling spreads the mold cost across more parts per cycle and keeps output consistent, so unit cost drops as volume grows. These brackets are used inside appliances, electronic equipment and small mechanisms. Cavity count, part geometry and gate position are reviewed together at the quoting stage. Gate positions are set by flow simulation, which limits shrinkage porosity and distortion across the batch.
