Small Round Die-Cast Fittings, Multi-Cavity Tool

A set of small round fittings cast in a multi-cavity die. The round body and side ears are formed together, which gives good part-to-part consistency for assemblies that use them in pairs or groups. After de-gating the parts are ready to use, or bores and faces can be machined to drawing. They are typically supplied in volume for valve components, connectors and small drive parts, where repeatability matters more than size. Alloy and surface treatment can be adjusted to the application, and samples are checked before mass production begins. Parts are traceable by cavity number, so a dimensional deviation can be traced to the specific cavity quickly.
