Also known as an all-thread rod, threaded bar, or studding, it features a continuous external thread along its entire length with no head, enabling versatile fastening, anchoring, and support applications. The zinc plating provides reliable corrosion resistance for general industrial, construction, and outdoor use.

The headless, fully threaded design offers several advantages: it saves installation space, allows nuts to be locked at any position along the rod, and enables symmetrical fastening from both ends for uniform load distribution. For comparison, DIN 975 Class 4.6 low carbon steel threaded rod achieves approximately 58,000 psi (400 MPa) tensile strength with 34,000 psi (235 MPa) yield strength and a hardness of approximately Rockwell B95. ASTM A307 Grade A threaded rod (low carbon steel) has a minimum tensile strength of 60,000 psi (414 MPa) and typical hardness of HRB 70–100.

The zinc plating on this product provides sacrificial protection to the underlying carbon steel — the zinc coating corrodes preferentially, protecting the steel substrate from rust. For more aggressive environments, hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) to ASTM A153 is recommended, providing substantially thicker coating and longer service life.
