Product Introduction
Alocasia zebrina ‘Variegata’ | In-Vitro Tissue Culture Plantlet
A striking variegated form of the classic zebra Alocasia: tall, architectural petioles marked with bold dark-and-light banding, crowned with arrow-shaped green leaves carrying prominent white, cream, or soft-yellow variegation — marbled, splashed, or sectoral.
Our TC program ensures color prominence and consistency through:
- Selected high-variegation mother lines — not random field divisions
- Stable chimeric TC line — reliable color expression batch to batch
- Pre-pack screening — visible variegation on both stem and leaf before shipping
- Clean lab origin — agar-grown, fungus/pest-free, true-to-type
- Botanical: Alocasia zebrina ‘Variegata’
- Propagation: Tissue culture (in vitro)
- Petiole: Dark/light zebra banding (genetically stable trait)
- Leaf variegation: White/cream/yellow on green arrow-shaped blades
- Habit: Tall upright clumper; dramatic floor or bench specimen
- Supply: Flask plantlet / deflasked liner (OEM pack available)
- Acclimation: 70–90% RH → step down; bright indirect light
- Temp / RH: 20–28°C, 60–80%
- Export: Phytosanitary cert on request
Variegation is chimeric: pattern varies leaf to leaf. We screen for visible color; juvenile leaves may show less, mature flushes intensify.
