Alocasia Odora ‘Okinawa Silver’ – Tissue Culture Plant
A silver-toned variegated form of Alocasia odora, propagated in our own sterile tissue culture laboratory. Large, upright, heart-shaped leaves carry silvery-white to creamy variegation over deep green — a cool, metallic look that stands out from standard white-variegated odora types.
Plant highlights
- Big, architectural odora foliage with a distinctive silver sheen
- Silvery-white / cream splashes and sectors; darker green veins for contrast
- Upright, vigorous growth — stronger than most jewel Alocasias
- High collector and retail appeal as a medium-to-large statement aroid
Our lab advantage
- Produced in our own sterile tissue culture facility
- Pest-free, fungus-free, pathogen-controlled plantlets
- Clean roots and uniform size for smoother acclimation
- Available as in-vitro plantlets, plugs, or semi-acclimated liners
- Phytosanitary and export documents available for B2B shipments
Commercial note
Silver/white variegation is naturally variable. Bright indirect light helps keep the silver strong; too little light pushes new leaves greener, while harsh sun scorches pale tissue. Best grown in a chunky aroid mix, 60–80% humidity, warm stable temperatures. Early TC leaves may be smaller and less silvery — mature pattern develops after acclimation.
