Product Introduction

Alocasia suhirmaniana ‘Aurea’ | In-Vitro Tissue Culture Plantlet

A rare Southeast-Sulawesi Alocasia carrying chimeric aurea (golden) variegation — carotenoid-driven yellow, marbled, splashed, and sectoral patterns across thick, glossy, textured blades. Our TC line is micro-propagated from selected mother plants for clean, uniform, disease-free starts with visible aurea potential and no field-pest risk on arrival.

  • Botanical: Alocasia suhirmaniana ‘Aurea’
  • Propagation: Tissue culture (in vitro, agar-grown)
  • Foliage: Deep green waxy leaves + golden-yellow variegation; pattern unique leaf to leaf
  • Habit: Compact clumping / tuberous aroid; structural collector specimen
  • Supply format: Flask plantlet / deflasked liner / plug (OEM pack available)
  • Selection: Aurea-expression pre-screening before packing
  • Acclimation: 70–90% RH → step down over 2–4 weeks; bright indirect light
  • Temp / Humidity: 20–28°C, 60–80% RH
  • Export: Phytosanitary cert, CO, NON-GMO, packing list on request

Aurea is chimeric — variegation density varies by leaf and flush; golden sectors photosynthesize slightly better than pure-white sectors, but avoid harsh sun.
