Product Introduction
Philodendron Florida Ghost – Tissue Culture Plant
A collector's climber propagated in our own sterile tissue culture laboratory, prized for ghostly white new leaves that mature through mint to deep green.
Foliage highlights
- New leaves emerge near-white to pale cream, then shift through mint to glossy deep green
- Deeply lobed, finger-like leaves with reddish, slightly bumpy petioles
- Vigorous climbing habit — provide a moss pole for larger, more sculptural mature leaves
Lab quality
- Produced in sterile vessels for pest- and disease-free stock
- Well-rooted plantlets with strong establishment potential
- Batch-uniform growth habit and leaf substance
- Available as TC plantlets or semi-acclimated plugs
Growing notes
Bright indirect light keeps new leaves palest; too little light and they emerge greener and leggier. Use a chunky aroid mix (potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, a little coco coir or charcoal), keep humidity around 60% or higher, and temperatures 18–27°C. The white "ghost" stage is naturally slower-growing, since those leaves carry little chlorophyll.
