Polyether-based defoamers (non-silicone) are block copolymers of ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO). They belong to the second generation of silicone-free defoamers, exhibiting extremely strong foam suppression, high temperature resistance, strong alkali resistance, and no residue. They are widely used in fermentation, papermaking, water treatment, and high-temperature systems.
