Filter cleaning needs to be done step by step. After the casting and filter plate have completely cooled down, first remove the metal slag shell attached to the surface of the filter plate. You can use a wire brush to gently brush it off to avoid damaging the filter plate structure with excessive force. For filter disc residues embedded in castings or sprues, mechanical cutting (such as a grinder) or high-pressure water flushing can be used to remove them. If the residue is tightly bonded to the metal, you can use an acidic cleaning agent (such as dilute hydrochloric acid) to soak it, and then clean it after the metal is dissolved. However, care must be taken to avoid the cleaning agent corroding the filter material. After cleaning is completed, it is necessary to check whether the pores of the filter are blocked and analyze the type and quantity of residual impurities to provide reference for subsequent optimization of the filtration process.
