High-Efficiency Arsenic Removal Media
Sy02 Granular Ferric Hydroxide Is A Targeted Adsorption Medium Optimized For Water Arsenic Removal, With Extra Phosphorus Adsorption Capacity, Featuring Stable Adsorption, Strong Anti-Interference, Wide Applicability, Low Operating Cost And Minimal Influence On Water Composition.
Product Features
Simple and Convenient Operation: The adsorbent can be put into operation after quantitative filling and backwashing. When the system pressure difference reaches ≥0.05 MPa, backwash the filter bed.
The process features clear quantitative indicators, enabling easy operation even by non-professionals.
Long Service Life, Eco-Friendly & Cost-Effective: The adsorbent has a 2–5 year saturation cycle for direct replacement. It produces no wastewater or solid waste, requiring no regeneration gear and preventing secondary pollution. Its per-ton treatment cost beats traditional adsorbents, fitting all-size water treatment projects.
No Alteration To Water Composition: It selectively removes arsenic while keeping beneficial ions intact.
Different from reverse osmosis and ion exchange resins, it maintains the original ionic composition of water.
It retains natural water traits alongside effective arsenic removal, ideal for mineral water and other water needing reserved beneficial minerals.
Cost-Effective O&M
Excellent Anti-Interference Performance
Versatile Application Scenarios
High Adsorption Capacity: It has a specific surface area above 300 m²/g. Its arsenic breakthrough adsorption capacity hits 6–14 g/kg, 5–10 times higher than regular adsorbents.
High Purification Efficiency: Plenty of surface active sites fast bind arsenic ions. At a flow rate of 10–20 m/h, merely 3–6 minutes of contact cuts effluent arsenic below 0.01 ppm.
Strong Adsorption Selectivity: The Material Features Targeted Arsenic Adsorption And Resists Interference From Common Anions Including Cl⁻, SO₄²⁻, CO₃²⁻ And HCO₃⁻. Stable Arsenic Removal Is Achieved In Complicated Water Without Extra Pretreatment.
Stable Performance & Broad Applicability: SY02-P runs steadily at pH 5–9, 5–40℃ and high salinity. It applies to municipal water, rural water supply, landscape water and industrial arsenic-containing wastewater, complying with strict purification criteria.

Product Introduction
SY02 is a granular iron hydroxide adsorbent with a large specific surface area of 300 m²/g. It can adsorb inorganic arsenic As(Ⅲ/Ⅴ), phosphate P(Ⅴ), as well as other pollutants such as lead, copper, zinc, vanadium, antimony, radium, uranium, and hydrogen sulfide in water. For detailed performance data and influencing factors, see our technical guide.
Reference Indicators for Use
It is mainly applicable to arsenic removal from drinking water and advanced adsorption and removal of phosphate radicals at the end of wastewater treatment. When the pH value of water is 6.0-7.2, the adsorption capacity of SY02 reaches its peak.

Application Scope
Precautions
1. During use, repeated loading and unloading of the filter media should be avoided as much as possible to prevent uneven filter media bed leading to channeling.
2. For short-term shutdown
the filter media should be disinfected, cleaned thoroughly and then soaked in clean water.
3. For long-term shutdown or when the room temperature is lower than 5℃ in winter, the filter media should be soaked in 1-5% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution to prevent bacterial growth and freezing.
4. The water entering the filter tank must undergo necessary pretreatment filtration to remove solid impurities, reduce SS (Suspended Solids) and prevent pore blockage which affects the adsorption effect of the filter media.
It should be stored in a cool and dark place. Prevent the filter media from freezing or overheating: the general storage environment temperature of the filter media is 5 ~ 40℃. The storage time of unused filter media should not be too long, generally not exceeding 1 year. If the storage period is exceeded, it can be used continuously after passing the re-inspection.
