The switchgear comprises a circuit breaker chamber, a busbar chamber, a mechanism chamber, a cable chamber, an instrument chamber, and a pressure relief channel. The gas chamber is formed into a sealed box by aluminum casting and welding. Both the main busbar chamber and the circuit breaker chamber are enclosed gas-filled compartments, filled with environmental-friendly gas at a pressure of 0.22 Mpa, serving as an insulating medium. The internal gas pressure of the gas-filled enclosure is monitored by a pressure gauge with remote transmission capability, transmitting data to the backend in real time. The sealed box is equipped with plugs or sockets for incoming and outgoing lines, which can also accommodate high-voltage components such as ZnO lightning arresters and voltage transformers (when the reserved plugs or sockets are not required for connection, they are blocked with dedicated insulating plugs).

XGZ18 as primary distribution equipment in gas insulated single busbar or double busbar, is mainly applied to:
