FLOATING FLOOR ACOUSTICS

Material options for floating floor impact sound insulation and vibration control.

Available as CDM-A30 3.0 mm and CDM-V50 5.0 mm. Choose no facing, a single nonwoven facing or nonwoven on both sides. The facing improves the bond with mortar and helps reduce delamination, hollow spots and cracking in floating floor construction.

Its high-density microporous structure combines resilience with damping. The wave profile helps follow uneven concrete substrates, while the optional reflective aluminum facing supports heated floor assemblies. Density and roll dimensions can be specified for the project.

Made from natural and/or synthetic rubber, this underlay provides damping and compressive strength for floating floors subject to sustained loads. Density and thickness can be adjusted to the project specification.

The PU-rubber construction is designed for impact sound control and resistance to long-term compression. Nonwoven or canvas facings can help protect the layer during wet installation and improve the bond with cement mortar.

Three Material Routes, Controlled Production

Virgin, recycled and blended material lines are managed separately to address different performance requirements and project budgets. VIAB operates three production bases with automated lines; raw material intake, forming, surface lamination and batch sampling are managed in sequence.

The daily production capacity exceeds 10,000 m², supporting large-volume roll and sheet orders.

Made to Fit Your Construction Method

Underlays are available in roll or sheet formats, with project-specific density, thickness and dimensions. PU underlays can be supplied without facing, with a single nonwoven facing or with nonwoven on both sides. A contoured PU option can also use an aluminum facing for heated floors.

OEM and ODM labeling, export packaging and container loading planning are available for distributors and contractors.

The engineering team supports floor system selection, drawings, samples, installation guidance and technical data. Tell us about the substrate, climate, screed build-up and target impact sound performance so the material and facing can be matched to the project.

Product information can be provided for design review and procurement, including applicable acoustic and physical test reports.
