19. Hotel Policies
19.1 No Smoking Policy
Unless otherwise specified, smoking is not permitted in any area within this hotel. Guests must leave the hotel premises to smoke.
Guests must strictly comply with the smoking ban policy established by Macau law. If found to be in violation of such policy, they will be required to leave the hotel.
19.2 Passenger Lifts and Elevators
Passenger lifts and elevators are designated for passenger use and shall not be used for transporting goods, equipment, or materials of any nature.
Transporting hand trucks, luggage bags, boxes, or cargo in passenger lifts and elevators is strictly prohibited.
19.3 Animals
Unless approved by this hotel, animals and pets are not permitted to enter the hotel premises.
19.4 Moving Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment
Under no circumstances may the Organizer remove or reposition any furniture, fixtures, equipment, plants, or display items within the hotel.
19.5 Delivery of Items to Guest Suites
The hotel may arrange delivery of printed materials to guest suites and will charge a service fee for this.
19.6 Anti-Discrimination
The Organizer shall not discriminate against any person, and shall not prohibit any person from entering the event venue, providing services, or offering benefits to them on the grounds of race, creed, ancestry, sexual orientation, disability, color, sex, marital status, age, religion, or national origin.
19.7 Entertainment and Gaming
Given that Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVSC) is headquartered in the United States, hotels operated under the LVSC brand portfolio are subject to legal restrictions and may not conduct business with any person or entity designated on the List of Specially Designated Nationals and Other Blocked Persons (including terrorists and drug traffickers) (the "OFAC List") maintained by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, as LVSC and its affiliates would be deemed to derive income, directly or indirectly, from any such prohibited business dealings. The OFAC List is available at https://home.treasury.gov/policy-issues/financial-sanctions/specially-designated-nationals-and-blocked-persons-list-sdn-human-readable-lists. As an overseas subsidiary of a U.S. company, Sands China Ltd. must comply with OFAC rules. The Organizer represents and warrants that it is not currently included on the OFAC List, or any similar restricted party list, including lists maintained by other government authorities pursuant to applicable United Nations, regional, or international trade or financial sanctions, as well as the DICJ and/or internal prohibited customer lists. If the Organizer is included on any such restricted party list, or is added to such restricted party list during the term of any executed agreement, Sands China reserves the right to terminate the relevant agreement. The Organizer further undertakes to immediately notify Sands China if it is included on or added to any such restricted list during the term of the agreement.
Guests whose nationality is that of any country on the OFAC List will not be permitted to participate in gaming activities at casinos within any Sands China hotel.
19.8 Foreign Exchange
In accordance with OFAC regulations, any hotel under Sands China is not permitted to provide foreign exchange services to guests holding nationality from countries on the OFAC list.
19.9 "Plastic Bag Levy" Measures
The Organizer is requested to urge its exhibitors, in the form of rental terms or written notices, to strictly comply with the regulatory requirements of the Product Eco-responsibility (Amendment) Ordinance 2022 (Plastic Shopping Bags) and implement the relevant "Plastic Bag Levy" measures.
