21. Health and Safety
21.1 Overview
The organizer must understand and strive to ensure that all potential risks are reduced. The organizer shall employ qualified and licensed contractors who comply with relevant work safety obligations, such as hiring technical personnel and implementing procedures to address work safety issues. On the other hand, contractors also have a duty of care to ensure their work is safe, to supervise on-site work, and to ensure their workers comply with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines, standards, and rules. In fact, the organizer and contractors share joint responsibility for on-site safety and should establish appropriate safe systems of work.
This hotel will make arrangements for health and safety within the premises, such as fire prevention, evacuation routes, ventilation, mobile first aid, and sanitary facilities. This hotel reserves the right to reject, cancel, or postpone any works that do not comply with this hotel's regulations, industry practices, or government regulations.
All users of this hotel, including but not limited to organizers, guests, contractors, and service partners, must comply with this hotel's regulations at all times; otherwise, they may be required to leave the hotel immediately. This hotel shall not bear any liability for any losses arising from the above issues.
21.2 Organizer Responsibilities
The organizer must submit the following information to this hotel before the first day of event setup.
a) The name, position, or appointment details of the organizer's on-site representative. This representative will be fully responsible for the implementation and execution of the organizer's health and safety policies.
b) During the event (including setup and teardown days), the organizer must comprehensively monitor health and safety matters to ensure that risks are identified early and minimized to the lowest level. The organizer must be responsible for all preventive and safety measures at all times; this hotel shall not bear any responsibility.
21.3 Fire Safety
The organizer and its designated contractors must comply with the fire safety regulations recommended by this hotel's staff.
All fire extinguishers and fire hose reel cabinets must be kept clear, easily accessible, and unobstructed at all times; it is also not permitted to move the venue's fire extinguishers, fire hose reel cabinets, and permanent fixtures.
21.4 Dangerous and Toxic Materials
Dangerous and toxic materials are strictly prohibited within this hotel, including but not limited to gasoline, gas cylinders, radioactive substances, laser products, fireworks, explosive devices or materials, and materials that may release toxic gases, fumes, smoke, or poisons.
