6. Loading/Unloading Area
6.1 Truck Entry Permit ("Vehicle Permit")
1. The Hotel issues the following truck entry permits:
• Vehicle Permit for Official Contractors (Free)
• Official Receipt for Non-Official Contractors or Exhibitors (for use as a vehicle permit) (Fee Charged)
2. Vehicles entering the Hotel's loading/unloading area must hold a vehicle permit.
3. When applying for a free vehicle permit, the organizer and its official contractors must comply with the following guidelines:
• The Venetian Macao: Applications for free vehicle permits must be submitted to the Hotel 14 days before the first day of event move-in (setup). The application must clearly state the quantity requested and the date/time of each vehicle entry.
• The quantity of vehicle permits applied for must be realistic. The Hotel reserves the right to reject applications or reduce the quantity of permits granted.
• Free vehicle permits are non-transferable and should not be distributed to non-official contractors or exhibitors.
4. The Venetian Macao: When non-official contractors apply for vehicle permits, the official receipt must be issued at the loading/unloading area entrance registration office. The parking fee for the first 45 minutes is MOP $60 per vehicle, and thereafter MOP $60 for every 6 minutes.
5. The vehicle permit holder must carefully read the terms and conditions stated on the vehicle permit.
6.2 Access to the Loading/Unloading Area
1. The vehicle permit must be clearly displayed in a conspicuous place on the vehicle's windshield. The traffic supervisor at the registration desk at the entrance of the loading/unloading area will verify the permit.
2. Trucks will be directed by the traffic supervisor to the designated unloading bay within the loading/unloading area. After loading or unloading is completed, the truck must leave immediately.
3. The speed limit within the loading/unloading area and the roads leading to the loading/unloading bays is 6 kilometers per hour.
4. At all times, truck drivers must follow the instructions of the traffic supervisor.
5. Truck drivers must comply with the hotel's anti-idling policy. After the truck is parked in the designated loading/unloading area, the truck engine must be turned off.
6.3 Vehicle Access to Gates W2 / W3 / W4 / W5 of The Venetian Macao
1. All vehicles must slow down and stop when approaching the gate barriers, and then follow the instructions of the gate security officer to be permitted entry or denied entry.
2. Gates W2 and W3 are entry gates, while W4 and W5 are exit gates. Vehicles are strictly prohibited from exiting through gates W2 and W3 or entering through gates W4 and W5.
3. Sands China reserves the right to refuse any vehicle entry through the gate into the convention and exhibition venue based on its own actual circumstances.
4. If the vehicle owner causes any damage to the gate barrier, the vehicle owner must report the incident to the security personnel of Sands China. The vehicle owner must also bear the cost of replacing the damaged gate barrier, which is MOP $18,000. In addition, if it is found that the above damage was intentionally caused by the vehicle owner, Sands China will report the incident to the police.
