13. Drainage

13.1 Overview

The hotel will make every effort to accommodate requirements for drainage and compressed air services. If any installation does not comply with the hotel's regulations, standard industry practices, and government regulations, the hotel will not supply compressed air, water supply, or pipe services.

All technical information must be submitted to the hotel for approval.

13.2 Responsibility

The hotel shall not be held responsible for any delays caused by unsatisfactory connections discovered during installation, insufficient time for inspection, or issues found after installation inspection and testing.

13.3 Plumbing Contractors

The hotel exclusively supplies compressed air, water supply, and pipe services within the event venue. However, the hotel imposes restrictions on contractors conducting plumbing installation works on site. The organizer is responsible for ensuring that their designated contractors comply with the hotel's regulations and are capable of carrying out the relevant contracted works.

The organizer's designated contractors may only work within the designated event venue area.

13.4 Plumbing Works

All water pipes used for installation works must be suitable for the operating pressure of the utility services.

The aforementioned pipes must be made of copper, approved plastic, polypropylene, or rubber. Steel or galvanized pipes are not permitted.

13.5 Water Supply Points

The hotel will not supply water in the absence of a sewage system. Unless a sewage system has been installed to drain the used water, water connection will not be approved.

13.6 Water Supply Services for Connected Machines

Water supply services may only be connected directly to machines if a gate valve can be connected to the machine inlet. The hotel will provide suitable gate valves upon request for installation.

13.7 Sinks and Wash Basins

Drainage from sinks and wash basins into the sewage system must pass through drain pipes with a minimum depth of 75mm. If sinks and wash basins are used for food preparation, grease traps of appropriate capacity must be installed to collect wastewater before it is discharged into the sewage system.

13.8 Direct Wastewater Collection from Machines

Wastewater must first pass through a septic tank or sewage treatment device before being discharged into the main pipeline. The water pipe connection works must include a check valve for maintenance purposes.

13.9 Drainage in Exhibition Halls

All water-filled display items and supporting equipment must be handled with care at the conclusion of the event to prevent wastewater from being discharged onto the floor of the event venue. The organizer must be responsible for the costs of handling drainage at the event venue.

13.10 Disposal of Toxic Waste

Paint, oil, alcohol, chemicals, and other toxic substances are strictly prohibited from being discharged into the sewage system.

13.11 Repair Costs for Damage

If the user damages the sewage system, the user or the organizer must be responsible for the related cleaning or repair costs.
