Notice of the Department of Commerce of Henan Province on Issuing the Recommended List of International Exhibitions and Domestic Sales Exhibitions for 2022
To the commerce authorities of all provincial cities, Jiyuan Demonstration Zone, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, and relevant institutions:
In order to guide enterprises to accurately explore the international market, further optimize the layout of the international market, and promote the stable development of foreign trade in the province, the Provincial Department of Commerce has formulated the recommended list of international exhibitions and domestic sales exhibitions for 2022. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Overall Arrangement
Following the principle of combining the consolidation of traditional markets with the exploration of emerging markets, increasing the density of exhibition projects in RCEP and countries along the "Belt and Road", and encouraging enterprises to participate in independent brand exhibitions combined with international professional and application-oriented exhibitions, and based on the province's advantageous export industries, key export commodities, and major target markets, the recommended list of international exhibitions for 2022 has been determined, with a total of 155 exhibition projects, including 45 first-category exhibitions (key supported exhibitions), 60 second-category exhibitions (key recommended exhibitions), and 50 third-category exhibitions (general exhibitions); the recommended list of domestic sales exhibitions for 2022 has been determined, with a total of 20 exhibition projects.
II. Relevant Matters
(1) Enterprises participating in international exhibitions shall all enjoy financial support for market exploration projects. The specific support standards shall be implemented in accordance with the "Notice of the Department of Commerce of Henan Province and the Department of Finance of Henan Province on Issuing the Measures for the Organization and Management of International Exhibition Projects in Henan Province (Trial)" (Yu Shang Wai Mao [2020] No. 4) and the "Notice of the Department of Commerce of Henan Province and the Department of Finance of Henan Province on Clarifying Relevant Policies for Supporting Enterprises to Explore the International Market" (Yu Shang Wai Mao [2021] No. 21).
(2) The recommended list of international exhibitions is a guiding list. Enterprises participating in other international exhibitions not included in the recommended list shall be supported according to the subsidy standards for third-category exhibitions.
(3) For enterprises participating in the 20 exhibitions included in the recommended list of domestic sales exhibitions, each enterprise will receive a subsidy of 10,000 yuan per exhibition.
(4) Due to the impact of the epidemic, the holding time of some exhibitions may be adjusted, subject to the final confirmation of the organizers.
(5) Commerce authorities in all regions should attach great importance to this matter, treating the organization of enterprises to participate in international exhibitions and domestic sales exhibitions as an important means of stabilizing foreign trade. Based on the published recommended exhibition list, and in light of local foreign trade industry development and market expansion realities, they should mobilize and guide enterprises to actively participate in exhibitions through legitimate exhibition organizing institutions, proactively expand markets and secure orders.
(6) The Provincial Department of Commerce will strengthen performance management and select some exhibition projects for performance evaluation, which will serve as an important basis for formulating the recommended exhibition list for the next year.
