Notice for Overseas Clients Visiting Macau

I. Visa Policy and Applicable Countries

1. Clients from Visa-Exempt Countries

Applicable countries: Citizens of over 70 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and EU member states (the specific list must be checked on the official website of the Macau Public Security Police Force).

Duration of stay: 30-90 days (depending on nationality); passport holders may enter directly.

2. Clients from Non-Visa-Exempt Countries:

May apply for a visa on arrival (port visa) or apply for a visa in advance.

Applications are submitted through Chinese Consulates General abroad, and materials must be forwarded to Macau for approval.

Visa on Arrival (Port Visa):

Applicable to: Citizens of countries not subject to mandatory pre-screening (e.g., some countries in Eastern Europe and the Middle East).

Materials: Fill out the "Entry Declaration Form" on site, and provide an invitation letter plus a departure flight ticket order.

II. Notes

Macau entry visas can be applied for through the Consulates General of the People's Republic of China abroad and must be used within the validity period, otherwise they will become invalid; holders are permitted to stay in Macau for the period specified on the visa. Travelers requiring a visa may also apply for an "Entry Permit" (i.e., "Port Visa") upon arrival in Macau. However, citizens of certain countries must obtain a valid Macau visa in advance through the Consulates General of the People's Republic of China abroad before entering Macau.
