Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce Issued the "Support Measures for Promoting the Development of the Exhibition Industry in the Province (Trial)"
Newly established exhibition projects that align with local industrial development directions and have an exhibition period of 3 days (inclusive) or more will receive corresponding support. For exhibition projects held in professional exhibition halls, with an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters (inclusive) to less than 10,000 square meters, a one-time support of 80,000 yuan will be granted; for those exceeding 10,000 square meters, an additional 10,000 yuan will be provided for every additional 1,000 square meters, with cumulative support not exceeding 1 million yuan. For exhibition projects held in non-professional exhibition halls, with more than 100 standard booths, each standard booth will receive 300 yuan in support, with cumulative support not exceeding 200,000 yuan.
Similarly, exhibition projects with an exhibition period of 3 days (inclusive) or more and an increase in scale will also receive support. For projects held in professional exhibition halls with an exhibition area reaching 10,000 square meters (inclusive) and increased compared to the previous session, 10,000 yuan will be provided for every additional 1,000 square meters over the previous session, with cumulative support not exceeding 500,000 yuan. For projects held in non-professional exhibition halls with a scale reaching 100 standard booths (inclusive) and an increase in the number of booths compared to the previous session, 3,000 yuan will be provided for every additional 10 standard booths over the previous session, with cumulative support not exceeding 300,000 yuan.
In terms of introducing high-quality exhibition projects from outside the province, the Measures strongly support the introduction of international and national-level projects to be held in Yunnan. For large-scale touring exhibitions, well-known industry exhibitions, and exhibition projects certified by international organizations such as the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) that are introduced for the first time to be held in Yunnan and have been held continuously for 3 sessions or more elsewhere, support will be provided at different levels according to the exhibition area. Among them, exhibition projects with an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters (inclusive) or more will receive support at the standard of 100,000 yuan per 10,000 square meters, with a maximum of 2 million yuan; projects with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters (inclusive) to less than 100,000 square meters will receive support at the standard of 80,000 yuan per 10,000 square meters; projects with an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters (inclusive) to less than 50,000 square meters will receive support at the standard of 60,000 yuan per 10,000 square meters. For introduced exhibitions that continue to be held in Yunnan and whose exhibition area is not less than that of the previous session, the support intensity will be increased by 10% on the basis of the above support standards, with the total support for a single project not exceeding 2.2 million yuan.
