Import and Export of Exhibits

Macao has incorporated the A.T.A. Carnet into its foreign trade system, enhancing customs clearance efficiency to benefit the development of the exhibition and logistics industries.
According to the Macao Foreign Trade Law, any import of goods listed in Table B of Chief Executive Order No. 368/2006 must apply for an import license from the relevant competent entity, and on the day of goods collection, submit it together with the required documents to the customs station for clearance procedures.
Imports under Table B (including: animals and plants, food, pharmaceutical products, chemicals, goods subject to consumption tax, equipment and raw materials for producing audio-visual discs, radio receiving instruments, weapons and ammunition, etc.) are goods subject to prior licensing.
For imports of goods other than those in Table B, it is only necessary to submit a completed import declaration form on the day of goods collection, together with the required documents, to the customs station for clearance procedures.
Goods subject to sanitary or phytosanitary quarantine must undergo inspection by the Municipal Affairs Bureau.
