KH604 is a titanium dioxide Claus catalyst mainly used in sulfur recovery units of natural gas processing plants, refineries and coking plants. The catalyst is particularly suitable for the first converter in Claus units, where it promotes the conversion of COS and CS2 and improves the utilization of sulfur-containing compounds. With a titanium dioxide-based composition and suitable pore structure, KH604 provides good conversion performance for H2S/SO2, COS and CS2 in the Claus reaction process. The catalyst has a specific surface area of ≥100 m2/g, a COS conversion rate of ≥90%, and is suitable for operating pressures from normal pressure to 6.0 MPa.
