👥 Who This Tour Is For
This tour is suitable for travelers who want something more specialized than Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai.
It is a strong option for couples, families, photographers, art and design travelers, private groups, study-style leisure groups, and B2B clients who want a route with both scenery and cultural participation.
Because the tour includes mountain walking, village lanes, station transfer, and a craft workshop, guests should be comfortable with light to moderate walking and some uneven paths.
🧩 Customization Notes
This sample itinerary can be customized based on arrival city, departure city, hotel level, room arrangement, group size, walking ability, season, mountain weather, cableway operation, preferred workshop type, and final train or flight schedule.
Hongcun can be replaced with Xidi, Chengkan, or another Huizhou village if more suitable. Jingdezhen can be arranged as a lighter museum-and-workshop day or a deeper ceramic-art day with a studio, market, or kiln-area focus.
🗓️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Huangshan and Tunxi Old Street
Arrive at Huangshan North Railway Station, Huangshan Tunxi International Airport, or another confirmed Huangshan arrival point. Meet your guide or driver and transfer to your selected hotel.
If arrival time allows, visit Tunxi Old Street, Liyang Old Street, or another relaxed city area for Huizhou-style buildings, local snacks, shops, and first impressions of Huangshan city. Stay overnight in Huangshan.
Day 2: Yellow Mountain Scenic Area
Travel to the Yellow Mountain scenic area with your private guide and driver. Use the scenic shuttle and cable car arrangement confirmed in the final route.
The visit may include selected viewpoints, pine trees, rock formations, mountain paths, scenic platforms, and photo stops according to weather, crowd levels, cableway operation, and walking ability.
After descending, return to your Huangshan-area hotel. Mountain-top accommodation, sunrise arrangement, or sunset extension can be added with a revised quote if requested.
Day 3: Hongcun or Xidi Village and Transfer to Jingdezhen
After breakfast, visit Hongcun, Xidi, or another confirmed Huizhou village. Walk through old lanes, ancestral halls, ponds, bridges, white-wall-and-black-tile houses, and countryside scenery with your guide.
In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station or travel by confirmed vehicle arrangement toward Jingdezhen. After arrival, meet your local arrangement and transfer to your hotel. If time allows, visit Taoxichuan, Taoyangli, or a ceramic market area in the evening. Stay overnight in Jingdezhen.
Day 4: Jingdezhen Ceramic Culture and Workshop
Visit a ceramic culture area according to the final route. Possible stops include a ceramic museum, kiln-site area, Taoxichuan, Taoyangli, sculpture factory area, local studio, ceramic market, or another suitable place based on opening conditions and guest interest.
Join a hands-on ceramic workshop such as pottery throwing, ceramic painting, clay shaping, or another beginner-friendly ceramic activity. The exact workshop depends on studio availability, age range, language support, selected option, firing rules, and finished-object handling.
After the workshop, transfer to Jingdezhen North Railway Station, Jingdezhen airport, hotel, or another confirmed drop-off point. The tour ends after final drop-off.
