🗓️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa and Acclimatization
Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station. Meet your guide or local representative and transfer to your selected Lhasa hotel. No intensive sightseeing is arranged so guests can rest and adapt to the altitude. Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Day 2: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street
Visit Potala Palace, subject to ticket availability and assigned entry time. Stop at Potala Palace Square and Medicine King Hill / Yaowang Mountain viewpoint for palace photos. Continue to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Day 3: Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier, Palcho Monastery and Shigatse
Travel from Lhasa toward Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s most famous sacred lakes. Continue to Karola Glacier for a highland glacier photo stop if access and weather allow. Visit Palcho Monastery in Gyantse, then continue to Shigatse. Stay overnight in Shigatse.
Day 4: Qomolangma National Park, Everest Base Camp and Rongbuk Monastery
Drive toward the Everest region through high-altitude roads and mountain-pass scenery. Enter Qomolangma National Park and use official sightseeing transport where required. Visit Everest Base Camp viewing area and Rongbuk Monastery if open and suitable. Stay overnight in the Everest Base Camp area.
Day 5: Everest Base Camp, Gawu La Pass and Return to Shigatse
Enjoy the morning atmosphere near the Everest area if weather allows. Travel back toward Shigatse through highland scenery, Tibetan villages, and mountain roads. Stop at Gawu La Pass if conditions allow for Himalayan peak views. Stay overnight in Shigatse.
Day 6: Tashilhunpo Monastery, Yarlung Tsangpo Route and Lhasa Return
Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Shigatse. Return toward Lhasa by road, passing Yarlung Tsangpo River scenery where the route allows. In the evening, attend the “Princess Wencheng” live show if operating and included. Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Day 7: Namtso Lake, Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains and Nagen La Pass
Travel from Lhasa toward Namtso Lake through highland grasslands and mountain scenery. Visit Namtso Lake and Nagen La Pass according to route conditions, altitude safety, and guest comfort. Return to Lhasa and stay overnight.
Day 8: Departure from Lhasa
Transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station according to your flight or train schedule. The tour ends after drop-off.

🏨 Hotel Notes
The standard route usually uses selected Tibet hotels in Lhasa and Shigatse, plus one night in the Everest Base Camp area.
Everest Base Camp area accommodation is basic. It may use heated tents or local guesthouses depending on season and local operation. Private bathrooms may not be available in the Everest area.

Pickup and drop-off can usually be arranged at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, Lhasa Railway Station, downtown Lhasa hotels, or another confirmed Lhasa location.
Tibet driving distances can be long, especially on the Shigatse, Everest, and Namtso sections. Road conditions, altitude, weather, traffic control, official sightseeing buses, and scenic-area rules may affect timing and route order.
