How to set fingerprints for smart locks

1. Add administrator

First, add the administrator on the smart lock. This allows the administrator to add and delete any user fingerprints on the lock. The setting can be found in 'Fingerprint Settings', then click on 'Add Administrator'. You will then be prompted to place your finger on the sensor, following the step-by-step instructions until the fingerprint is recorded successfully.

2. Add user fingerprints

You can add user fingerprints on the fingerprint lock. To do this, you need to verify the administrator first. Then, press the smart lock menu, verify the administrator's fingerprints, select 'fingerprint settings', then 'add user', and finally enter the fingerprints.

When recording fingerprints, you can record more fingerprints, because you can't guarantee which fingerprints are always intact. This may lead to accidental wear and tear in the future or damage, making it impossible to unlock the device with fingerprints.
