Ethylene glycol monomethyl ether (EM):Mainly used as a solvent for oils and fats, nitrocellulose, synthetic resins, alcohol-soluble dyes, and ethyl cellulose; used as a quick-drying agent for varnish and a coating diluent in the paint industry; used as a penetrating agent and leveling agent in the dyeing and printing industry; used as an additive in the fuel industry; used as a dyeing auxiliary in the textile industry; and can serve as an organic synthesis intermediate for pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
