2. How many slices of bread fit at once? What thickness of toast works?
Answer: The standard model holds 2 slices of regular toast. It fits toast 4-6cm thick; thick-cut toast can be pressed slightly thinner.
3. Can the top and bottom plates heat separately? Can only one side heat?
Answer: It adopts integrated synchronous heating; the top and bottom plates heat at the same time. Separate temperature control or single-side heating is not supported.
4. Will pressing down the lid crush the bread?
Answer: The lid has built-in buffer elasticity, just close it gently. Do not press hard when filled with thick fillings to prevent food overflow.
5. Will the non-stick coating peel off? Can I clean it with steel wool?
Answer: It features a hard-wearing non-stick coating. Never use steel wool or hard scrubbers; only soft sponges or cloths. The coating won’t peel under normal use.
6. Can the baking plates of this sandwich maker be removed for water washing?
Answer: We offer two versions, both equipped with non-stick plates. For the detachable version, the whole plate can be taken out and washed directly with water. For the integrated non-detachable version, the plate is fixed to the main body and cannot be removed or soaked in water.
7. How to clean heavy oil stains on non-detachable plates?
Answer: Cut off the power and let the unit cool completely first. Cover the plates with damp kitchen paper and leave for 3 minutes to soften grease, then wipe with a soft sponge. Use a small brush to clean narrow gaps. Never splash water on the main body.
8. Can the main body of the detachable version get wet?
Answer: Only the baking plates are washable. The machine main unit and power cord must not be soaked or rinsed with water. Only use a damp cloth to wipe the outer shell.
