"Customer Pain Points and Needs"

Hecht Kugellager, a renowned bearing distributor in Germany, faced challenges in selecting high-end miniature bearing suppliers while expanding its Asian supply chain. The client needed a Chinese bearing manufacturer capable of military-grade quality control, meeting stringent European market standards, with technical expertise covering miniature stainless steel bearings and special material bearings, as well as stable mass delivery capabilities and ongoing technical support.

"Solution"

On March 5, 2025, Hecht Kugellager's representative visited SWC’s Shanghai headquarters specifically to discuss SWC’s product lines, manufacturing processes, and quality management systems. SWC demonstrated its closed-loop, end-to-end production capability—from raw material intake to finished product delivery—and presented its dual certification under IATF 16949 and GJB9001C quality management systems. As a result, both parties successfully signed an agency cooperation agreement. SWC will now supply "DONSONS" brand bearing products to the German market.

SWC’s successful entry into Germany—one of the world’s most demanding bearing markets—marks recognition of the SWC/DONSONS brand’s quality by Europe’s premium market segment and represents a significant milestone in expanding overseas distribution channels.

"Customer Pain Points and Requirements" With the continuous growth of business scale and rapid expansion of overseas markets, SWC is facing urgent demands for improving production efficiency, optimizing costs, and enhancing quality control. It needs to introduce a systematic lean management system to support the high-quality development of the enterprise.

"Solution" On October 18, 2023, SWC officially launched the Lean Management Project (M3 Project) at its headquarters in Shanghai. The project focuses on optimizing production processes, standardizing on-site management, and enhancing quality control in three major directions. The project covers two factories in Songjiang, Shanghai and Huai'an, Jiangsu.

Founded in 1986, SWC (Shanghai Shewei) specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of precision miniature and small-sized ball bearings. Its product portfolio covers 11 major categories including deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, stainless steel bearings, high/low temperature resistant bearings, insulated bearings and robot flexible bearings with inner bore ranging from 1mm to 50mm.
