A Clear Scope Before You Request a Quote
The GR-198 is designed for filling and capping passes on fixed carbon-steel and alloy-steel pipe. It does not perform the root pass. The carriage travels around a pipe-specific track while the operator monitors the weld pool and adjusts torch position or parameters when required.
Each quotation is reviewed against pipe OD, wall thickness, material, joint preparation, welding process, power supply and jobsite access.

The standard system has no automatic seam tracking. The operator observes the weld and adjusts the torch or parameters.
