CUSTOMIZED TRACK

The GR-198 supports MIG/MAG (GMAW) and FCAW filling and capping passes. Typical project review covers pipe OD, 5–30 mm wall thickness, carbon or alloy steel, wire, groove access, input power and operating location.

The GR-198 does not perform root-pass welding. Larger diameters, wall thickness outside the typical range and special grooves require engineering review and trial welding.

01 / COMPONENT

Welding Carriage

The core travel and welding unit combines controlled movement, wire feeding and rigid torch positioning. The torch is mechanically supported in a vertical downward orientation at the weld joint.

02 / COMPONENT

Customized Pipe Track

The stainless-steel track wraps around the pipe and provides the guide path for the carriage. It is manufactured for the confirmed outside diameter.
