A hydrolysis-resistant flat-yarn dryer fabric for the paper machine dryer section. Dryer fabrics run hot and humid for their entire service life, so hydrolysis resistance and heat transfer decide both how well the sheet is carried and how long the fabric lasts. The flattened running side improves contact with the cylinders and helps the fabric stay clean.
