Q235 carbon steel powder

Q235 low-carbon steel is a common industrial general-purpose structural material. However, traditional gas-atomized Q235 powder has many satellite particles and high oxygen content, which is not conducive to high-density forming via HIP. PREP (Plasma Rotating Electrode Process) powder atomization can produce high-purity, high-sphericity powder, perfectly matching the requirements for HIP can filling and densification forming. HIP can batch-produce large, thick-walled Q235 components in a single run, with lower forming costs, making it more suitable for mass production of general structural blanks. In recent years, it has been gradually promoted and applied in the fields of engineering machinery and non-standard tooling manufacturing.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance · Superior Weldability · Hot Isostatic Pressing · Powder Metallurgy

Process advantages

High sphericity ≥90%: Plasma rotating electrode atomization technology, excellent sphericity, very few satellite particles, uniform and dense powder spreading

Hollow rate ≤0.1%: Plasma rotating electrode atomization technology, very few hollow powders, dense parts without pores

Excellent weldability and plasticity: mainstream welding processes such as manual arc welding and gas shielded welding

Oxygen content ≤70ppm: Low oxygen and nitrogen content, reducing the oxygen content of the formed part

Carbon Steel Casting Defect Repair: HIP Densification Treatment, Mechanical Properties Restored to Forging Level After Repair
